HengTen Handler Course
Skills & Tactics – An exploration of the skills and tactics needed to be the best teammate to your dog’s detection expertise. We will cover the most common errors, omissions and substitutions that are needed for every handler to be the best teammate.
Know when you made an error and understand its effect in addition to an alternative tactic. Learn when its okay to choose what might be considered an error in place of an alternative to achieve a more efficient search.
We will play some search games that specifically challenges each handler to work out of a particular error or search complexity – then evaluate the choices, possible alternatives and what skills and tactics are ideal for each challenge.
