Dana Zinn and Sue Sternberg, authors of the Dog Driven Search, are returning to Texas to share more of their knowledge and expertise with our teams. I personally found the first workshop had a profound impact in how I teach classes as well as how I train and handle my own dogs.
LOCATION: Saturday and Sunday
YMCA Camp Twin Lakes
Monday - TBD
COST:
$300 - Working one day + Auditing one day
$200 - Auditing both days
$125 - Auditing one day
$200 - Instructor day working spot
$100 Instructor day audit spot
Each day will have space for 10 working teams and unlimited auditors. Sunday will build upon Saturday's learning so it is recommended that you plan to attend both days if possible. Working teams MUST attend both days, one working and the other as an auditor.
Working spots will be awarded by random draw from all extries received by Friday August 1. No payment is due until you are notified. If you are not selected for a working spot you will automatically receive an auditing spot. If you are only attending one day you will automatically receive an auditing spot.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all dogs are well suited for working spots. Please consider whether your dog is comfortable searching in new environments in front of large groups before signing them up for a working spot.
This opportunity is specifically for instructors who are currently teaching scent work classes or private lessons. There will be Working Spots assigned by random draw and unlimited Auditing Spots. There will be opportunities for discussion on challenges we are facing as instructors and tips on how to deliver the material and help students excel.
